It protects the safety of its pack by tricking its opponents." Info: Luke's partner in crime, now without the actual 'crime' part. Without his Team Rocket microchip, Shadow has mellowed out a bit, and while he's still quite proud and reserved, he's lost most of his cruelty. His mischievous streak is quite intact, however, and he enjoys causing chaos. Proud of his Illusion ability, he tries to mimic Luke as often as he can, adopting his trainer's posture and gestures.

	Magikarp → "It is unable to swim against even slow-moving currents. It always splashes about for some reason." Gyarados → "Rarely seen in the wild. Huge and vicious, it is capable of destroying entire cities in a rage." Info: Luke's spirit animal. Now that she's finally evolved, Fish has no qualms about showing her trainer who's boss. Unfortunately, Luke will just have to reap what he's sown, namely a Gyarados completely unwilling to listen to him in battle--or out of it. Their relationship is a work in progress.

	Eevee → "Its irregularly configured DNA is affected by its surroundings. It evolves if its environment changes." Flareon → "It fluffs out its fur collar to cool down its body temperature, which can reach 900 degrees Celsius." Info: Entirely Ryoji's fault. Rem, named for the fucking sun, is destined to become became a Flareon at level 5. (From a Fire Stone Luke stole during the Outbreak, no less. Talk about a dramatic entrance.) He's got a good eye for strategy but precious little motivation to actually hone it. Instead, he's content to be lazy and also be the Sassy Gay Friend the rest of the team never wanted. Stupid beyotches.

	Snubbull → "In truth, it is a cowardly Pokémon. It growls eagerly in order to hide its fear from its opponent." Granbull → "It is actually timid and easily spooked. If attacked, it flails about to fend off its attacker." Info: Caught as an Abra trap, and now absolutely petrified of honey as a result. It's a good thing she's not naturally inclined to mischief, because Luke sort of lets her get away with whatever. Of all of Luke's pokemon, Bruiser is probably the one he gets along with best.

	Skarmory → "After nesting in bramble bushes, the wings of its chicks grow hard from scratches by thorns." Info: Originally Korra's, Tenzin fell into Luke's possession after she left Johto. He was on the run from the police at the time (it's a long story), so the Skarmory's arrival was somewhat serendipitous, if sad. Tenzin has a keen interest in Luke's hair, especially munching on it or nosing it. Luke tolerates it because Tenzin's useful.
