[Look, it's Luke, and he's grinning like a loon.]

Here, here, take it--

[He pushes the camera away from himself, presumably in the hands of a pokemon, either his Granbull or Zoroark. The feed pans out, and out, until it's apparent that Luke is sitting on the head of a Steelix. A very large Steelix. His legs hang long, the heels of his boots notched into the 'brows' of the great snake's metal head. He leans forward a bit.]

Look at this guy! He's so awesome!

[The Steelix rumbles, because she is a she and also this kid is obnoxious.]

I'm going on a road trip to Olivine, who's with me?! There's room for like, twelve on this thing!

[With a searingly bright smile, he cuts the feed. Looks like not even headaches can get him down.]

[He has no idea.]

[ Thought so. His words alone are more than enough. She just rolls her eyes and scoffs. ]

In other words, you're borrowing him from someone else, right?

I'm not--[HUFF because he can't argue.] Whatever. Bet you don't have one this big. He's even bigger than your Skarma...Skarmo...bird thing!

[ At least her Skamory isn't riddled with exploitable weaknesses, Luke. Also, WHIRLWIND.

At his challenge, the grin is just barely beginning to crack her face wide open. ]

Probably not bigger... but definitely cooler looking than yours. He'd probably be almost as big, actually!

What, your bird thing? No way he's this big.

[BECAUSE SIZE MATTERS LOLOLOLOL]

Hah! What makes you think I was talking about my Skarmory, Luke?

[ HE'D WORRY ABOUT THAT WOULDN'T HE HAHAHAHA ]

[This just in: 90% of Luke's swaggering is compensation.]

[ Korra's gonna set her Gear aside for a moment to fish out a pokeball. Expertly rolling the small sphere between her fingers and even throwing it up and down for a few seconds ~~show off~~ before she presses the center and throws it.

The ball lands. Flash--

Then a very loud, very monstrous roar is heard.

Korra should be scared, but she's actually grinning like mad at the sight, the huge shadow looming over her. Then she goes to pick up her Gear and show Luke the furious glare of a large Gyarados. ]

Luke, meet my Gyarados. Gyarados, this is Luke.

[OH HOLY MOTHER OF--]

Aaah!

[Luke jerks away from the camera a moment, his brows hiding away in his hairline. His eyes are saucer-sized.]

What is that thing?!

[ Your reaction makes Korra laugh and her grin turn into a smug smirk. Knew that'd do it. ]

It's a Gyarados! Aww, you scared, Luke?

[Immediately he rises to the bait, brows knitting together.]

I'm not scared of it! What's so special about it, huh?

[ You get another heated roar at those words of yours, Luke. Korra only slightly winces at the ferocity, but she knows it's not directed at her. The smirk comes back on. ]

Well... considering how I got the big guy... [ She makes a show of thinking on it, then-- shakes her head. ] Nah, I think I'll keep you guessing on that. It was pretty cool, though.

[It gets Luke, the intended recipient, to flinch though. He's practically pouting in response to that smirk, though it's worth to note that the Steelix just looks bored in the face of the lower-levelled Gyarados.]

Whatever. Are you even gonna come, or not?

[Hey hey Korra wanna ride huh huh do ya]

[ One of these days, Steelix. One of these days... ]

You're still in Goldenrod, right? [ Pause. ] Sorry, but I can't. I have to stick with one of my friends that just recently arrived here, actually. [ Then that grin comes back. ] Nice of you to offer, though, Luke. I'm sure you'll have some fun without me.

[ Teaaaaaase. ]
